Hey this is Jeff Usner. Thanks for being here on this video today. I'm excited to have you here. Today's video we're going to focus on one topic, three letters, one word, is why. I want to talk about a few things about why today.
The first thing I want to talk about is why do people buy from you. That's the number one thing that most businesses fail at is really figuring out why do people buy from you. Well if you have already made sales, the fastest way to find out why people buy from you is to simply ask them.
Go back into your client base. For people who buy from us, we ask them why did you invest in this, whether it was the book, whether it was Reverse Online Profits, whether it was one of our other training programs, what is the reason that you are investing into this product? And we figured out that the main reason why people invest in our product is really simple. We are in the business of solving problems. Whatever business you are in, if you are having a hard time figuring out why do people buy from you, look at the problem that you solve. For us, people want to learn how to make money on the internet. They want to know how to grow their businesses on the internet. That is the why people buy from us. We focus on it. That is the surface level why.
If we are to dig a little deeper, money is great and people say "I want to do this to make money" but the next question would be, "Why?" What do you want to do with that money? In our marketing, we try to discover, talk to your clients, what that is. Maybe they want more freedom. For us, for example, they want to have more freedom to be at home. They want to have more freedom to get out of debt. They want to have more money to do whatever it is that they want to do but getting deeper into the reason. So the first thing you want to do is to figure out why your clients are buying from you. The best way to do that is to simply ask them. When you ask them, they usually tell you why they buy from you and you'll get to see a consistent pattern why people are buying.
Another way to do this is to look at some of the advertising that you're doing. If you're doing advertising, for example, on a search engine or a Facebook advertisement, you'll be able to look at which ad is getting the most activity. What are people clicking on? What is attracting them to your ad? And you can look at the ad and figure out what are they really clicking on. What are the words? What's the difference between Ad A and Ad B and that will start to tell you why people are here with you.
The next thing that I want to talk about in this video is after you figure out that why is number two you want to go and implement that into all your marketing, into all your sales process, your customer support - anything that you are doing, whether you are doing e-mail follow-up, physical follow-up, any conversation, you are always trying to tie that why back into your marketing. So a lot of what you'll see from me will be helping you to make more money on the internet. I'm going to be focused on trying to answer that why. Sometimes I will go into reasons on why you want to have more money or something like that but really focus on how can I help you make more money in your businesses. That is what I am implementing into this business, for example.
In this video, I want to challenge you. Walk away from this video and focus on why are people buying your product and service. Really, when you get into it, you are in the business of solving problems. So what problem is it that you are solving and why do people want that problem solved? Does that make sense? For us, why do they want to make more money? Money is great but what are the deeper reasons? Find those reasons out in your business.
